Speakers

Dr Phillippe O. Zimet

Dr Zimet has a Specialist Endodontic practice in Dandenong, Victoria. Specialist qualifications include a Master of Science in Oral Biology obtained from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1984.

Current positions include Consultant Endodontist to Monash Medical Centre, as well as teaching appointments at the University of Melbourne School of Dental Science and Monash University Medical School. Dr Zimet has published and lectured nationally and internationally in the fields of endodontics and infection control, including editing the Systematic Operating Procedures 2005 - A Manual for Infection Control and Occupational Health and Safety for the Dental Practice.

Phillippe Zimet is currently the Chairman of the Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation. He has been admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.

Dr Peter Parashos

Dr Peter Parashos graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1980 and obtained his MDSc in 1989 and PhD in 2004.  He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dentists and the International  College of Dentists.  He is currently Senior Lecturer in Endodontics and COnvener of Postgraduate Endodontics at the University of Melbourne. He also works in private Endodontic practice and is actively involved in CPD programmes in Endodontics.  His contribution to endodontics in Victoria has earned him Honourary Life Membership to the Australian Society of Endodontology (Vic. Branch).
