TITANIUM SURFACE MODIFICATIONS: ARE THEY CLINICALLY RELEVANTWed May 14, 2008 6.00PM - 9.30PM
Although dental implants have predictable outcomes in most clinical situations, sites with inadequate bone quality and quantity remain a challenge. In addition there is a greater demand for reducing treatment times from placement to restoration. To meet these challenges, ongoing research in implant design, surface modifications and clinical techniques continue. This lecture will examine the clinical significance of recent developments in implant surface modification.
